About This Event
Shc Collective works at the intersection of jazz and free improvisation, shaping music through close listening and open-form structures. At Arthur’s Tavern in the West Village they perform at street level, trading cues in real time and shifting roles between lead and accompaniment; their sets move in sections rather than fixed songs and prioritize risk and responsiveness over polish.
