Jennifer Wharton’s Bonegasm

The Jerry Bergonzi Quartet is led by American tenor saxophonist, composer, and educator Jerry Bergonzi. Heard at New York City’s Smalls Jazz Club, the group uses the quartet format to foreground his rhythmic and harmonic language and to keep the focus on collective improvisation.
