Dan Weiss Trio
About This Event
Dan Weiss brings his trio to Smalls Jazz Club, presenting music that foregrounds time, structure and close listening. A Brooklyn-based drummer, tabla player and composer, Weiss applies extensive rhythmic study and a composer's approach to form; in trio settings pulses shift without losing continuity and the band favors precision and real-time decision-making.
