Rez Abbasi Quartet
About This Event
Guitarist-composer Rez Abbasi brings his quartet to Smalls Jazz Club, presenting material drawn largely from his own writing. The group favors bandstand-based close listening over studio polish, building pieces through steady development with improvisations that follow the composition's logic; the quartet's profile is shaped more by live work than by streaming metrics.
