Joe Farnsworth Quartet
About This Event
Drummer Joe Farnsworth, a familiar presence at Smalls Jazz Club, leads the Joe Farnsworth Quartet in a program of originals and standards. Farnsworth’s playing favors timekeeping and clear ensemble direction, keeping the rhythm section locked while leaving space for frontline improvisation. The result is a tradition-rooted approach shaped in real time by the room.
