Tyler Henderson Quintet featuring Aanya Sengupta
About This Event
Led by Tyler Henderson, the quintet extends work from his quartet into a larger, flexible ensemble heard regularly on New York bandstands, including Smalls Jazz Club. At Dizzy's Club the group — featuring Aanya Sengupta in the lineup — will present a straight-ahead program that emphasizes shared standards vocabulary, close conversational improvisation and clarity of line over spectacle.
