Ilya Dynov Quartet
About This Event
Ilya Dynov Quartet appears at Smalls Jazz Club in a set that includes bassist Brandon Lee Lewis. Lewis, a regular on New York’s club circuit who has worked in both his own quartet and in Dynov-led projects, favors close listening and quick ensemble decisions. The performance draws on small-room repertory built on tight cueing, clear lines and open improvisation.
