Brandon Lee Lewis: Jazz Musician in New York

About Brandon Lee Lewis

Brandon Lee Lewis is a jazz musician heard regularly in New York City’s club circuit, including appearances at Smalls Jazz Club. He has worked in small-group settings such as the Brandon Lee Lewis Quartet and with pianist Ilya Dynov, both in Dynov-led projects and quartet lineups. Onstage, he favors close listening and responsive interplay, leaning into the quick decisions that define modern jazz ensembles. His work sits comfortably in the room’s tradition of nightly repertory shaped in real time.
