PAF New York 2026: Bestiary of Darkness

“PAF New York 2026: Bestiary of Darkness” arrives at Pioneer Works as a live, cross-disciplinary work that treats the stage like an exhibit in motion. Drawing on art and dance, it builds a catalog of imagined creatures and shadowed archetypes, using bodies, sound, and objects to test where myth meets contemporary anxiety. Its New York City presentation situates it within a venue known for hybrid performance and visual practice. One clear takeaway is its insistence on ambiguity, asking viewers to assemble meaning rather than receive it.
