Aaron Burnett Quartet
About This Event
Aaron Burnett brings his quartet to Smalls Jazz Club, presenting work that sits where composed material meets improvisation. His pieces use open forms that treat rhythm and timbre as structural material, favoring investigation and real-time decisions over repertoire-driven polish; the set will foreground the quartet’s emphasis on improvisation and on-the-spot shaping.
