Scott Neumann Quartet
About This Event
Drummer Scott Neumann brings his working quartet to Smalls Jazz Club for a late-night set. The group, heard regularly in the club's close quarters, emphasizes tight interaction, clear melodic lines, small shifts in tempo and touch, and lets the rhythm section shape the narrative. Neumann's work is grounded in the night-to-night discipline of the local scene rather than an extensive online presence.
