About This Event
The Django Reinhardt NY Festival is an annual New York City series devoted to the legacy and continuing practice of Reinhardt’s music. Presented at Dizzy's Club — a room known for close listening and clear acoustics — the concerts foreground ensemble interplay, acoustic string work and the rhythmic drive of gypsy jazz while leaving space for modern phrasing and conversational improvisation.
