Django Reinhardt NY Festival: Jazz Musician in New York

About Django Reinhardt NY Festival

Django Reinhardt NY Festival is an annual New York City performance series devoted to the legacy and continuing practice of Reinhardt’s jazz. The festival’s concerts are presented at Dizzy’s Club, placing the music in a room known for close listening and clear acoustics. Programming typically foregrounds ensemble interplay, acoustic string work, and the rhythmic drive associated with gypsy jazz, while leaving space for modern phrasing and repertoire. The approach favors precision and conversational improvisation over spectacle.
