    About This Event

Flying Lotus headlines an electronic bill at the Knockdown Center, joined by Olof Dreijer, Brooklyn experimental noise band Black Dice, EYE and additional performers. The lineup juxtaposes FlyLo's work as a producer, Brainfeeder label founder and filmmaker (Ash, 2025) with Dreijer's new solo material (Loud Bloom, 2026) and Black Dice's decades-long use of signal processing and electronic instrumentation.

    About the Artists

    Flying Lotus

Steven Ellison, better known as Flying Lotus or sometimes FlyLo, is an American record producer, DJ, filmmaker, and rapper. He has released seven critically acclaimed albums: 1983 (2006), Los Angeles (2008), Cosmogramma (2010), Until the Quiet Comes (2012), You're Dead! (2014), Flamagra (2019), and Yasuke (2021).

    EYE

Eye II Eye is the fourteenth studio album by the German hard rock band Scorpions, released in 1999. It is a radical departure in that Eye II Eye is much more pop-oriented than their previous work, which alienated many fans, despite the single "Mysterious" reaching number 26 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

    Olof Dreijer

    Olof Dreijer

Olof Björn Dreijer is a Swedish DJ and record producer, best known as one half of the electronic music avant-pop duo the Knife, formed with his sibling Karin Dreijer. They disbanded in 2014 and continued to produce music collaboratively.

    Black Dice

Black Dice is an American experimental noise music band based in Brooklyn, New York and consisting of brothers Bjorn and Eric Copeland along with Aaron Warren. Formed in 1997, the group was initially inspired by hardcore and noise rock, but subsequently shifted toward the extensive use of signal processing, effects units, and electronic instrumentation.
