About This Event
Kelsey Lu brings her rock- and pop-leaning approach to alternative R&B to Pioneer Works, an artist whose catalog and moderate Spotify profile have built a sizable listener base in New York. Her work moves between song form and arrangement-forward writing; onstage she favors clarity over spectacle, letting texture and phrasing carry the set and aligning her with Rough Trade–adjacent bills alongside artists like Grace Ives and Haylie Davis.
