Lummie Spann Quintet
About This Event
The Lummie Spann Quintet performs at Smalls Jazz Club in a small-group format that favors ensemble balance over individual spotlighting. On bills that also list Ilhan Saferali in quartet and quintet formats, personnel shifts and repertoire choices shape each set, with attention to how horns and rhythm trade space and arrangements that leave room for late-night improvisation.
