Wolf Alice began as a pared-back project led by vocalist Ellie Rowsell and guitarist Joff Oddie in 2010; drummer Joel Amey and bassist Theo Ellis joined in 2012, completing the current lineup. Their music shifts between guitar-driven heft and melodic restraint, an approach they bring to The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City.
