Greensky Bluegrass, a five-piece American bluegrass jam band founded in Kalamazoo, Michigan in mid-2000, plays its own version of bluegrass, mixing the acoustic stomp of a string band with the rule‑breaking spirit of rock and roll. Having grown from three to five members, added electric effects and a full light show, they bring that amplified, improvisational approach to The Rooftop at Pier 17.
