Camera Obscura is a Glasgow indie pop band formed in 1996, built around songwriter and vocalist Tracyanne Campbell with longtime members Kenny McKeeve, Gavin Dunbar and Lee Thomson. The group took a mid-2010s hiatus after the death of keyboardist Carey Lander and returned in 2019 with Donna Maciocia. Their recent work, including the album Look to the East, Look to the West, emphasizes clear melodies, steady rhythms and plainspoken lyrics; they bring that repertory to White Eagle Hall.
