The Modern Window:Sofía Sinibaldi

Now on view at MoMA Exhibitions, *The Modern Window: Sofía Sinibaldi* frames Sinibaldi’s practice through the everyday architecture of looking—what a window reveals, edits, and withholds. The presentation reads as a live moment inside the museum’s galleries, where viewers’ movement becomes part of the work’s timing and emphasis. In New York, where the city’s visual culture is built on frames, thresholds, and display, the exhibition lands as a local conversation rather than a general theme. One clear takeaway is its restraint: it asks for attention without resorting to spectacle.
