About This Event
Tara Clerkin Trio performs at Pioneer Works, presenting music that occupies the edges of rock/pop and art music. Rooted in the experimental jazz ecosystem, the trio favors patient development over virtuoso display, building pieces from spare rhythms, close‑miked detail and clipped melodic fragments; their observational, restrained approach lets repetition and small shifts carry the narrative.
