Tara Clerkin Trio: Rock Band in New York

About Tara Clerkin Trio

Tara Clerkin Trio is a group working at the edges of rock/pop and art music, with a presence in the experimental jazz ecosystem on Spotify. Their music favors patient development over virtuoso display, built from spare rhythms, close-miked detail, and clipped melodic fragments. In New York City, they appear at Pioneer Works, a venue where genre boundaries tend to be treated as materials rather than rules. The trio’s approach is observational and restrained, letting repetition and small shifts carry the narrative.
