About Ray McGale's 13th Annual Krampus Show
Ray McGale’s 13th Annual Krampus Show returns to The Parkside Lounge, continuing a small New York tradition built around the winter folk figure and a rock/pop set. McGale is a NYC-based performer often seen at Arlene’s Grocery in mixed-genre bills alongside local regulars, and this iteration keeps the focus on concise songs rather than theatrical framing. The endurance of the series matters as a case study in how club stages sustain recurring, artist-led rituals outside institutional calendars. The show’s plainspoken delivery becomes its point.
