About This Event
The TJG Joyce Wein Mentoring Series presents Logan Richardson and Esteban Castro at The Jazz Gallery. Castro, a New York improviser working at the edges of free music who has played in small-group settings with musicians such as Kush Abadey and Thomas Morgan, favors responsiveness and forward momentum over polish and shapes the music from within the ensemble; his modest recorded footprint accompanies a distinct live practice.
