About This Event
Drummer Joe Farnsworth brings his quartet to The Django. Farnsworth, a longtime figure on New York’s working bandstand and a frequent presence at Smalls Jazz Club, favors timekeeping and clear ensemble direction over display; his groups are rooted in tradition and shaped in real time by the room. The quartet performs originals and standards with Farnsworth anchoring the rhythm section.
