About This Event
Jon Regen, singer, songwriter, pianist and writer whose work includes a Billboard No. 1 album, presents the release of Live in London at The Django. The program centers on his piano-based songwriting and vocal work within a jazz idiom, presented in the club’s intimate setting.
About Live in London
“Live in London” comes to The Django as a jazz set rooted in the live-album tradition, where arrangements stay flexible and the room becomes part of the recording’s logic. Jon Regen is featured, bringing a pianist’s sense of structure to material that still leaves space for drift and response. In New York, the piece reads less as a “London” souvenir than a document of how touring musicians translate a night’s energy from one city to another. Its restraint is the point: the music trusts timing over display.
