International Anthem presents Jeremiah Chiu - EDGE CONDITIONS Album Release
About This Event
Electronic composer Jeremiah Chiu, who released Recordings from the Åland Islands (IA11 Edition) with Marta Sofia Honer, brings his new EDGE CONDITIONS album to Public Records. Presented by International Anthem, the release performance will focus on Chiu’s studio-informed live electronic practice and the continuities between his collaborative recordings and solo work.
About EDGE CONDITIONS
Other “EDGE CONDITIONS” arrives at Public Records as a live electronic set, with Jeremiah Chiu among the featured performers. The project treats sound as an environment with borders—between club and concert, composition and improvisation, signal and noise. In a city where electronic music has long moved between downtown art spaces and dance floors, the work reads as part of that lineage rather than a genre exercise. Its most telling choice is restraint: it lets structure emerge slowly, and trusts the room to do the rest.
