Jon Spencer
About This Event
Jon Spencer, a New York City–rooted rock and pop artist best known for fronting the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion in the early 1990s, plays a late-night set at Mercury Lounge. He works with tightly wound rhythms and a rough-edged, song-first delivery, sometimes adding unexpected textures like theremin; his sets favor urgency over polish.
