The High Kings: The Power of the People - 2027 Tour

“The Power of the People – 2027 Tour” brings The High Kings to Town Hall, placing their rock/pop set in one of Midtown’s long-running civic stages. The group’s sound threads Irish traditional sources through contemporary arrangements, with familiar material like “Rocky Road to Dublin” reframed for a modern band format. In New York, that lineage lands differently, where immigrant repertories often enter the mainstream through concert halls before they become common currency. The result is less revival than translation, and it invites close listening to what gets preserved and what gets reshaped.
