About This Event
JC Hopkins Biggish Band, led by arranger and bandleader JC Hopkins, is a New York City–based jazz ensemble rooted in swing and big-band traditions. At The Django the group favors clean ensemble blend and steady momentum over showmanship, relying on tight section writing and working-band practicality. The project reads as part of the city's club-level big-band ecosystem rather than a repertory museum piece.
