Multi-woodwind instrumentalist and composer Max Bessesen leads his quartet at The Django. Noted for "saxophone virtuosity" (Downbeat), Bessesen has performed with Miguel Zenon, Mimi Jones and Darcy James Argue, appeared at Dizzy’s Club, Birdland and The Jazz Gallery, and released the 2020 album Trouble (Ropeadope), which features Ron Miles and the ASCAP-winning single "Bakkam".
