Omni, Saudi Oil
About This Event
Omni and Saudi Oil perform at Elsewhere in a pairing that puts an Atlanta post‑punk trio alongside an emerging New York rock/pop project. Omni—led by vocalist‑bassist Philip Frobos with Frankie Broyles and Chris Yonker and tied to Deerhunter, Balkans, Greenscreen and Carnivores—works from spare guitar patterns and tightly locked bass and drums; Saudi Oil moves between hook‑forward songwriting and rougher, lean rock textures.
