Omni: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Omni

Omni is an Atlanta post‑punk group led by vocalist and bassist Philip Frobos, with Frankie Broyles on guitar and keys and Chris Yonker on drums. The members trace their background through earlier projects including Deerhunter, Balkans, Greenscreen, and Carnivores, bringing a band‑honed precision to the trio format. Their songs are built on spare guitar patterns, tightly locked bass and drums, and rhythms that feel calculated rather than loose. In New York City, they’ve brought that disciplined approach to stages like Elsewhere, including bills with Saudi Oil.
