About Email
Email is a New York City dance group that builds choreography around narrative pressure rather than pure abstraction. At Danspace Project, in a program co-presented by Live Artery and New York Live Arts, the company shares new work developed with collaborator Tiran Willemse, extending its ongoing inquiry into how bodies carry story and social charge. In a city where Danspace has long served as a proving ground for downtown dance premieres, this appearance reads as a document of an evolving local lineage. Their material tends to value clarity of intention over display.
