Kanan Gill: Not This Again
About This Event
Kanan Gill is an Indian stand-up comedian, actor, author and online creator who first drew attention with comedy competitions and a YouTube series dissecting Bollywood films and later expanded into long-form specials for Amazon Prime Video and a 2024 YouTube release. He brings that dry, analytical voice—shaped by work across club stages, streaming platforms and screen—to Town Hall for Not This Again, favoring precision over theatricality.
About Not This Again
“Not This Again” is a live stand-up set now playing at Town Hall, bringing Kanan Gill into a New York room built for voice and timing. The material circles repetition itself: the stories people tell, the habits they return to, and the ways memory edits what feels familiar. In a city that cycles through trends and reinvention, the show reads as a small study of how comedy survives on patterns and disruption. Gill’s control is precise, sometimes making the silence as informative as the punch line.
