Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)
About This Event
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), by British writers Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, was first seen in regional UK productions in 2019 under an earlier title before moving to London in 2023 and the West End in 2024; its Broadway transfer now plays the Longacre Theatre. Successive casts have reshaped the piece, with Sam Tutty returning opposite Christiani Pitts, and its storytelling favors clean, character-led musical theatre over spectacle.
