Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)
About This Event
Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) is a stage musical by British writers Jim Barne and Kit Buchan that developed in UK regional productions in 2019 before moving to London in 2023 and the West End in 2024. Its Broadway transfer plays the Longacre Theatre, and successive casts across transfers have refined a clean, character-led approach; the Broadway cast pairs Sam Tutty with Christiani Pitts. The piece favors character-driven storytelling over spectacle.
