Sweeping Promises (18 and Over)

About This Event

Sweeping Promises, the Boston‑formed post‑punk duo of Lira Mondal and Caufield Schnug now based in Lawrence, Kansas, performs at Baby’s All Right. Their recordings straddle post‑punk and egg punk with taut bass, clipped guitar lines and plainspoken vocals, and a live lineup that includes touring drummer Spenser Gralla since 2019, a setup that favors precision over spectacle.
