Jazz
Lou Donaldson Centennial Celebration
About This Event
Dizzy's Club hosts the Lou Donaldson Centennial Celebration, honoring the alto saxophonist's musical legacy. Donaldson's early debt to Charlie Parker and his later soulful, blues-inflected approach helped bridge bebop and groove-oriented jazz; the evening highlights that arc in his work.
