Rajiv Joseph’s *Gruesome Playground Injuries* tracks a friendship in fragments, moving across three decades through a series of accidents, scars, and brief reunions. First staged in 2009 and later seen Off-Broadway, it sits in New York’s ongoing conversation about intimacy, damage, and the stories bodies carry. The structure jumps in time rather than building in a straight line, asking the audience to assemble cause and consequence. Now presented live at The Parkside Lounge.
