VEN Trio — Vinicius Gomes, Noah Garabedian and Ele Howell — performs at Bar Bayeux. Gomes is a New York–based bassist whose work centers on ensemble listening and flexible time, moving between supportive walking lines and open-textured counterpoint; Garabedian holds a BA in ethnomusicology from UCLA and a Master of Music Performance from NYU and received Chamber Music America’s 2025 New Jazz Works Grant and the 2022 Calouste Gulbenkian In View Grant.

Vinicius Gomes is a New York City–based bassist working across jazz and free improvisation. At Bar Bayeux, he appears in small-group settings with musicians including Sebastian de Urquiza, Glenn Zaleski, Rudy Royston, Kayla Williams, Dan Pappalardo, and Keita Ogawa.
Noah Garabedian
