About This Event
The David Zheng Band performs at The Django, presenting the small-ensemble approach the group has shown on New York stages. Led by Zheng, the band emphasizes arrangement and interplay, treating the rhythm section as an equal voice and allowing roles to shift between soloist and accompanist, favoring clarity and forward motion and keeping the focus on the conversation inside the tune.
