About This Event
Led by educator and bassist Joan Chamorro, Barcelona’s Sant Andreu Jazz Band brings its youth big-band training to Dizzy’s Club with Èlia Bastida and special guest Paul Nedzela. The program, rooted in swing-era arranging, Ellingtoniana and Brazilian colors, stresses disciplined section work and rotating soloists, pairing Bastida’s apprenticeship-style ensemble focus with Nedzela’s baritone saxophone and clarinet presence.
