About This Event
Teddy Riley is a producer, songwriter and performer whose work helped define new jack swing at the turn from 1980s R&B into 1990s pop and hip-hop; he founded Guy and Blackstreet and has production credits with Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Keith Sweat, Hi-Five and the Jacksons. At Westbury Music Fair, his live sets foreground groove architecture and vocal interplay, translating studio-built rhythms into a live setting billed on the jazz program.
