About This Event
OTRACAMI is a New York City–based performer working in the open-ended space of free music and improvisation; their practice favors pacing and room awareness over spectacle and their recent circle includes collaborations with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch and Miles Hewitt. At Alphaville they appear with Closebye, bringing the approach they use at Cassette’s KARAOKE NIGHT, where familiar karaoke structures are treated as flexible scores for live electronic and textural playing.
