OTRACAMI is an emerging New York City–based performer working in the open-ended space of free music and improvisation. At Cassette, they appear in the venue’s KARAOKE NIGHT series, where familiar karaoke structures are treated as flexible scores for live electronic and textural playing. Their recent circle includes collaborations with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak. The work favors pacing and room awareness over spectacle.
