About Luke Kidgell - Live in the USA
Luke Kidgell brings his “Live in the USA” stand-up set to Gramercy Theatre, adding another entry to New York City’s long-running tradition of touring comics testing material in mid-size rooms. Kidgell’s comedy draws on contemporary social life and the frictions of travel and identity, delivered with a brisk, conversational cadence. The setting matters: Gramercy sits in a neighborhood shaped by nightlife venues where audiences still expect jokes to land without much scaffolding. It’s a reminder that NYC remains a working laboratory for live comedy rather than a showroom.
