An Evening With God Street Wine
About This Event
God Street Wine, a New York City–born jam band whose early sets at Nightingale’s and The Wetlands Preserve helped shape the improvisational rock scene of the early 1990s, performs at the Gramercy Theatre. Their songs shift between rock and pop and routinely detour into jazz, bluegrass, funk and reggae, leaving space for open-ended ensemble conversation—a practice they revived after reuniting in 2009 and that underpins their long-running fan community, the Winos.
