Belle & Sebastian, the Glasgow-formed indie pop group led by songwriter Stuart Murdoch, have built a dozen studio albums of narrative lyrics and restrained, band-centered arrangements rooted in literate guitar-pop traditions. They perform at The Rooftop at Pier 17, following 2022's A Bit of Previous and a new collection, Late Developers, which continues their focus on detail and atmosphere in live rock/pop performance.
