Belle & Sebastian bring their literate guitar-pop to The Rooftop at Pier 17. Formed in Glasgow under songwriter Stuart Murdoch, the band has developed a band-centered sound across a dozen studio albums that favors narrative lyrics and restrained arrangements. Their recent collection Late Developers, following 2022's A Bit of Previous, continues that focus on tuneful, immediate songwriting.
